Another milestone means another opportunity to serve.

This, in essence, is the mantra that leading property developer Empire East Land Holdings Inc. has been upholding since it began serving the market 23 years ago.

From its inception, Empire East continues to serve as a steady anchor and a reliable partner of families and individuals aspiring to have their own homes. And by providing quality homes that serve not only as a testament to the realization of one’s dream but also as a solid foundation to one’s future, Empire East has become every hardworking Filipino’s refuge.

Multi-faceted lifestyle

Throughout the years, its efforts to create innovative, livable, and sustainable communities have made a significant impact on the locations where it is present, infusing energy and a unique sense of character into the Metro Manila landscape.

“We take pride in how our communities have taken shape over the years—they embody the kind of integrated, multi-faceted lifestyle we envisioned for its residents today,” said Empire East president Atty. Anthony Charlemagne Yu.

Indeed, dynamism and diversity mark the accomplishments of
Empire East as an urban developer. From its transit-oriented developments to its resort-inspired projects, it has clearly given the discerning mid-market a home worthy of their hard-earned money.

And as it enters another milestone, Empire East is again ensuring that it will make a lasting impact to the community and leave a pleasant but valuable mark to more families.

Giving back

This time, Empire East is embarking on a series of activities aimed at helping improve the lives of many Filipinos.

Going beyond the business of building landmark residential homes, Empire East is pulling all stops to further strengthen its “Empire East Cares” program as it conducts a series of small-scale humanitarian events that seek to give back and share happiness with people within and around the community.

Believing that no good act is too small to make a lasting impact, the company has put in place a series of activities where employees are to take part to ensure that the company’s promise of a good life will not only be confined to its developments but rather be felt by those who are truly in need.

“For years, the company has been passionately aiming to improve the lives of aspiring Filipino homeowners. Staying true to this cause, Empire East focuses on helping less privileged families in nearby communities with the goal of offering hope, warmth, nutrition, and art,” Yu explained.

“Empire East Cares began during the company’s Yolanda relief efforts in 2014 and we hope to carry more charitable events in the future. It is also our way of saying thank you to our customers and stakeholders for giving us a multitude of opportunities to positively impact the lives of even more Filipinos. It is, after all, Empire East’s goal to forge ahead and mark even more milestones as we continue to seize new growth opportunities,” Yu further added.

Humanitarian acts

First on the series of humanitarian activities that the company has lined up for its 23rd year is pROOFs.

As the umbrella event, Empire East has partnered with Gawad Kalinga in a bid to provide shelter to less privileged families in Muntinlupa City.

With the construction of multiple housing, pROOFs targets to provide homes, and change the lives of 38 families.

Such act is expected to give the beneficiaries even more reason to hope, strive and rise above the cusp of poverty. The homes are to symbolize new and greater beginnings for the beneficiaries, just like the way every new homeowner feels when they move in to any of the company’s developments.

Recently, Empire East employees held its strEATs event, wherein the company gave away treats and free meals to homeless individuals including street kids. Believing in the value of sharing meals with the family, Empire East, through strEATs, hopes to establish the importance of looking after impoverished individuals who barely have food on the table.

On July 21, Empire East will be giving away blankets to the displaced Marawi folk. Dubbed as the Blanket Project, the company hopes to extend the warmth of a loving family to those who are heavily affected by the ongoing siege in Mindanao.

And of course, what’s a home without a heart? Thus, on July 26, Empire East will be conducting an art workshop among young students to harness and awaken their love for the arts.

With such activities in place, there is clearly no stopping the heart of Empire East in showing that it cares. As it helps ensure that every Filipino lives a comfortable and decent life, it will continue to make milestones and further cement its mark in the housing industry.
