Empire East Land Holdings, Inc. has earned its second consecutive Golden Arrow Award from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD), reinforcing the company's commitment to responsible corporate governance, transparency, and accountability as it continues to develop residential communities for Filipino homebuyers.
The recognition was conferred during the 2026 Golden Arrow Awards held on October 23, 2026, at Makati Shangri-La Hotel. Empire East received 1 Golden Arrow, marking its second straight year of recognition under the ASEAN Corporate Governance Scorecard (ACGS), a regional framework that evaluates publicly listed companies against established standards of good corporate governance.
Receiving the award on behalf of Empire East was Chief Operating Officer and Chief Information Officer Mr. Lino P. Victorioso, Jr.
Organized by the Institute of Corporate Directors, the Golden Arrow Awards recognize Philippine publicly listed companies that demonstrate sound corporate governance practices. The assessment examines key areas including shareholder rights, sustainability and resilience, stakeholder relationships, disclosure and transparency, and the responsibilities of the board of directors.
The recognition places Empire East among publicly listed Philippine companies, including established leaders in the real estate industry, whose corporate governance practices have been recognized through the same assessment framework.
Building Trust Beyond Communities
For Empire East, good corporate governance goes hand in hand with its responsibility as a property developer. Beyond developing residential towers and master-planned communities, the company recognizes the importance of maintaining the confidence of the people who invest in its developments, entrust their future homes to the company, and contribute to its continued growth.
With 32 years in the Philippine real estate industry, Empire East has built its presence on a long-term commitment to making homeownership more accessible while creating communities designed to support the evolving needs and aspirations of Filipino families.
This commitment extends beyond physical developments. It also calls for responsible business decisions, transparent corporate practices, and accountability to shareholders, homebuyers, employees, business partners, and other stakeholders.
Earning the Golden Arrow for two consecutive years reflects the company's continuing efforts to uphold these principles as it pursues sustainable growth.
As Empire East moves forward with its ongoing developments and future communities, the company remains guided by the understanding that building homes also means building lasting relationships founded on trust.
The recognition takes on added significance as Empire East celebrates its 32nd anniversary under the theme "Moving Lives Forward," reflecting its enduring commitment not only to developing places where people can live, but also to strengthening the corporate foundations that support their aspirations for a better future.
