Exactly a year ago today, Empire East celebrated its anniversary with a series of events under the banner #EmpireEastCares. The impact that the company has made to several stakeholders has recently been recognized in the 2018 Philippines Property Awards that gained the company the prestigious Best in CSR title.

As the company celebrates its 24th year, why don't we take a walk down memory lane and reminisce the tribute to the community last year?

The celebration began with StrEATs, a street-feeding program aimed to nourish street kids and families in Metro Manila with a sumptuous meal.

This campaign was intended to provide a decent meal for families on several major streets in Metro Manila.  Spearheaded by Empire East CEO and President Atty. Anthony Charlemagne Yu, the company, gave away about more than a hundred gift packs containing decent meals to the families in front of Malate Church and Cuneta Sports Complex in Pasay City.

Next on the list is the heART program which targeted the young minds of New Little Baguio elementary school in Sta. Maria, Laguna. This program solely focused on harnessing the creativity among these students in the province through art workshops.

Led by Mr. Yu, Empire East offered basic art lessons and workshop among these school-aged kids who enjoyed a whole day of drawing, painting and crafting simple artworks.

With its tagline 'To give back and share happiness', Empire East continued its celebration in Muntinlupa City where the company donated an ample amount to Gawad Kalinga, which enabled to create several housing units for the beneficiary families in the city.

"This home-building effort is the main event of our anniversary program 'Empire East Cares.' With the help of Gawad Kalinga, we aim to give back and share happiness with the community around us, in one small way or another” says Empire East President and CEO Atty. Anthony Charlemagne Yu.

The month-long celebration ended with the 'Blanket Project' where the company sought to provide the warmth of a loving family to those affected by the siege in Mindanao.

Empire East turned its eye to the City of Marawi, where more Filipinos were caught suffering. Blankets were given to them through the Kaya Natin movement to remind them that they are not forgotten and that an entire nation rallies behind them.

As Empire East enters its 24th year in the industry, the company is ready to take another step forward in becoming the best provider for every aspiring Filipino homeowner.  This week, Empire East will conduct a symbolic turnover of the housing units in Gawad Kalinga Muntinlupa as a follow-through of its efforts.
