When it comes to giving back to the community, we need not go far. Just behind Empire East's two-tower development in Santa Mesa, Manila, Covent Garden, rises a Christian foundation that is determined to help orphaned and abandoned children by sheltering them and sending them to school – the Concordia Children's Services.

Empire East visited this home to share some love and happiness with about 100 kids of different ages. The event focused on allowing these children to experience love from other people through a fun party – so a dance showdown, a magic show, and a bubble show were prepared for them to enjoy.

Finally, everyone gathered for cool and simple treats from McDonald's, which the children happily shared.

"We're thankful to experience this moment with people who are willing to help us. We're thrilled to be in the company of people who are willing to get to know us," says Shaira, one of the kids present during the event.

Meanwhile, Managing Director Clifford Monje, the event organizer, shares his sales team's reason for visiting Concordia Children's Services, which is right behind the company's upcoming development, Covent Garden in Santa Mesa, Manila.

"We know that the Philippines has a lot of issues within communities that need improvement. And although it's tempting to go far, we realized that since we're always around this area, we know for a fact that there are some kids nearby who need help with their safety and education. And so we decided that there's no better place to help than from within the vicinity. And we're happy to be extending our blessings to these children," he says.

Empire East is a real estate developer that builds unparalleled communities in the metro. Aside from building homes, it also helps strengthen the hope of the country's youth so they may be empowered to do their best in the future.
